Our Library is Moving Online!
The ETTC library catalogue is moving online. We’re using a site called Library Thing, which has lots of useful features:
- You’ll be able to search for books by topic.
- We can post comments and feedback from members – just email me your reviews and I’ll get them posted.
- For many books you can access reviews and summaries from other sources including Amazon.com.

As I am entering the information online, I keep discovering more interesting books in our library. We have 8 bins of books with everything from books for preschool and school-age children about being a multiple to books about parenting teens to cookbooks to humorous memoirs from parents of multiple to books about crafts, games and activities to do with your children to books about pregnancy, birth and the first months with your multiples. We also have some CDs, DVDs and videos in the collection.
Most of the books are now listed online. To find a book you can browse the collection as a list (the default when you access the site) or by pictures of the book (click on “Covers”). You can also search by subject by click on “Tags” or using the search engine (try entering key words like author’s name or subject).
If you have any questions, requests to borrow books or suggestions of books to add to our collection, please email me your requests at library@ettc.ca. I can bring materials to executive meetings, general meetings, special events or any social events I’m attending. If this doesn’t work for you, we can make other arrangements.
